*Every journey starts with the first step*
Well so lets see now, this is my first post on this darn site and so I thought well since its the beginning of both my life in Junior College and my journey on this site... ...why not start with something like that (The title, and I know its a really corny one too)
Well anyway, first day of school...started off at 5:30 in the morning with me all groggy and wanting to lay in bed for that 5 more minutes that will never end. Unfortunately for me, my mom was there to drag me out of bed. Anyway, breakfast was normal; just that bit of bread and a cup of warm milo to give me that extra burst of energy (If you ask me, its not the Milo...its the milk and sugar that we add)

The bus-stop wasn't exactly pleasant with so many students, so many people and so little space. And being the big-sized 6 footer that I am, I didnt enjoy it one bit. To top it off, the bus came late and it travelled oh so slowly; especially with the numerous traffic lights on the road.

So, blah blah blah and I am late for school, almost got killed there.
Ok by now you would have gotten bored by all of this, and I dont blame you, I am bored just by typing this and seriously, I am just using this to ramble on about it.

This is where the fun starts.

All the students move into the auditorium, all 857? I think that's the right number of students in the school, currently. I was sent to the top floor, or the gallery if you will, and it is real steep. One slight miss in your steps and you are tumbling down the rows of seats and what is waiting for anyone that does tumble? A solid concrete wall, either that or you fall high enough to go over the wall and plummet to your almost certain doom.

If you think that's bad wait till you read this.

The students sat down in their really and I mean really small seats, and they were real hard too. Everyone got comfy... ...well as comfortable as they could possibly get...and the introductions started. Principal, Hods of various subjects, three university representatives, subject teachers of every subject available. I summarised it quite a bit so it doesnt seem very long but the whole thing lasted from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. Oh I forgot to mention, we didnt have any break...well we did have that one tiny break of 10 minutes where everyone cluttered around 2 toilets...but in any case, six hours of nothing but sitting and listening to boring presentations, informative none the less, but extremely boring and irritating too if I may add, especially if you have to hold a litre of water in your bladder for that long.

It ended eventually, thanks heavens for that. And I found that my legs were totally numb from sitting that long, I really had trouble walking out of the school and all the way back home.
Well this is the end of my first post, hope you were bored, because that's how I felt on my first day of school^^
