*The first step is also the most important*
Well this is day 2 of the Mariculation week. I still have no idea why we don't go through Orientation just like most of the other schools, but I am grateful for it. The Matriculation group hasn't really warmed up to each other yet, seeing as everyone just groups themselves with the friends they came in with whenever they can. I can't really blame them for doing that, being humans...most of us are shy....right? I hope I am. Either way, I went around the school today and the Junior College campus is by far larger and more complex than the Secondary school. I had the feeling that I would be swallowed by the very walls of Catholic High when I first got in, and I can tell you right now that that was nothing compared to the vastness of Junior College. But I guess I am getting used to it, I can find the bathroom at least. I must say, the first thing you need to know about ANY place, is the bathroom, without it...you are a goner.

Same oh same oh. Nobody did much at the morning assembly, national anthem was as quiet as ever. No surprise really. But what was different today was the intro-lectures that we had. I am not quite sure if any of the other schools have done it, but we had our first lectures today. It wasn't really much of a lecture, just introduction to whatever hellish experiences we shall be facing as students of that school and of that subject. Though it was rather boring, the teachers managed to keep the attention of over 800 students and made us all laugh at some point in time, I say that the hellish experience will not totally be hell....or so I hope. But these Intro-lectures showed us some really important things in College life, the subject courses, the different topics and units that we will be going through. It really gave us a preview of what we will be doing, which is really important. It would be ridiculous to enter a class without knowing ANYTHING about what we are studying, that would be a complete waste of time for both the teachers and the students. But I could see that most students in the auditorium were taking these lectures seriously. Good job :P

Oh, I bought my uniform today, and honestly it is HUGE. I mean seriously, I am 6 feet tall 1.82 metres tall and I still find my uniform big, you can imagine how big it is. Not too satisfied with the colouring of the uniform though, that needs to get some getting used to definitely. But this is my school now, might as well accept it since I don't really have much of a choice at it.

Well day 2 was short. Ended at 12 noon.

But I have to say, the one thing that I was completely upset with is the fact that the school server crashed last night. I submitted my subject combinations already and I found out today that I had to redo it because something screwed up the server. So I have to re-submit the whole application form, re-type my particulars and everything else that they needed. Its like chewing a piece of gum you already had, the aftertaste isn't exactly pleasant I assure you.

Well I guess this is the end of day 2 of my Matriculation week. Hopefully, I would be able to interact with my group mates a little more, seeing as how shy I am, I hardly made a sound let alone speak to them.

New school, new friends, new experiences, new pain, new interactions.
