(This will be one of those blog entries that will no have too many words)
The Photographic Society in the school had a outing to Hort Park on the 21st. And honestly speaking, I had no idea that place existed here in our beloved tiny red dot. Guess that means that I don't know my own country well enough.....how sad.
Well in any case, this is the first outing I had with the group and being the new kid there, I feel really out of place. Fortunately for me, I have already known a couple of people in PS so I guess it wasn't so bad. The seniors aren't exactly what I would expect to be honest, the mature, leading kind. They were playing around and playing retro games and the ridiculously lame jokes that they told....honestly, they are so 'cold' they have the potential to kill. But you can never judge a book by its cover yes? And truly, they showed their mature side right after we got off the bus. Everyone settled down and split into neat groups, instructions were given and precautions were taken. They may be a group of hyper-active 18 year old teenagers, but they are already entering the transitional phase into adulthood. The way they took charge and at the same time NOT sounding bossy or demanding in anyway, its not something achieveable by the ordinary group of teenagers. But enough with the boring words, I took many photographs there....133 to be exact....I have no idea how I can take so many. But rest assured, I am not going to put up all of them here.
I think I'll just let my photographs showcase the beauty of the park, I hope I can show it to its fullest.
I had lots of fun doing all of these things and honestly speaking all fun comes to an end. But its because it has an end that people appreciate and remember these things for life.
