*Around Singapore in 8 hours?*

Well lets see now, its been some time since I posted on this darn thing and I guess I should update it with some parts of my life.
Ok so for those that know me well, you would also know that I barely have a life and that I don't usually go out. So I think this will be a surprise when I say that I have been around Singapore yesterday. AMK Hub to Little India to Takashimaya to Wisma to other places around Orchard Road and then to a little place called Chinatown...or at least I was planning to go there, but I didn't have enough time.
Well lets see now first things first, I went to AMK Hub to meet up with one of my friends for lunch. She (and yes SHE) lives around the area and so being the gentleman that I am (I know that you are probably rolling your eyes right now) I agreed to meeting her in an area that is more convenient for her. But yea, it was just a normal lunch, but boy when I saw her mom there I could sense it already....she was checking me out.....checking to see if her daughter was in danger. And honestly, the pressure is huge when a parent stares you down like that.
Now that that episode is over, let me just skip the lunch part and how we laughed about things that happened in school.

And off to Little India we went, but before I get to that can I just say something? Singaporeans should REALLY REALLY stop standing at the doors of the MRT, especially the older generation. Its not like the younger ones don't have any fault at all, but the older ones are blatantly standing in front of the doors with their darn trollies and bags. How can people get out of the train if you stand there like that?! What has Singapore become in the years of development?!

*takes a deep breath* So when we reached Little India, lets just say that it was a lot tighter than I thought it would be. There was construction going on everywere and the two of us had to walk down these tiny aisles in between each site, it was horrible; the smell, the stink, the people sitting along that already tiny corridor. It was an experience that I would gladly forget. But after we squeezed out of that mess, we managed to see Little India as a whole and boy it was big. There was this one thing that caught my attention though, I haven't been to Little India in some time, however this isn't my first time. And no matter how many times I see it, I will never get used to the fact that huge groups of people would be walking down the road and running across it like they have no care in the world. Its not quite a norm in Singapore but I do believe that in India, this sight is not one to be surprised of.....which really makes me wonder why there arent too many accidents in India....at least none that I've heard of.

I'm telling you right now that Little India isn't very little at all. After an entire hour of walking, we only found 3 shops selling the Henna ink that we were looking for. But I have learnt something from this little expedition, Little India's corridors and walkways are pathetically small and narrow. When I walked past the market in that area...I tripped over some lady's basket -.- And while I was walking down the aisle, I had to wait for 2 whole minutes for a group of tourists to walk down the path. And being with a girl, it just got me worrying about her all the time. Its not like she is weak or anything, but I couldnt forgive myself if anything were to happen to her. But I must say, that Little India is really fragrant with their flowers and ointments. Its certainly a new experience for me, or at least a reminder of what I have missed out on hanging out with Chinese most of the time. And I also learnt to bargain, and to be merciless when you bargain. Next time I go there, I'm going to reduce the price by half....damned shopkeepers....trying to cheat on me. I'll be smarter next time I go there....diving in with my "Auntie Mindset"

WATCH OUT WORLD! AUNTIE BEN IS ON THE LOOSE!

Next stop, Takashimaya.

Orchard road never ceases to amaze me. The sights, the sounds, the crowd -.- It can really get to you if you arent in the mood. But I have a goal to meet and that is to find the tattoo ink that I saw there the other day. And off we two went through Wisma and down the road and whatever else there was to land ourselves in Takashimaya. Last time I went there, I got lost and somehow managed to get to the Art Friends there (I am so good at finding my way XD) Well, that place is HUGE and if I didnt already been there once, I would have gotten lost. But that part was rather boring, just went in to get that bottle of ink and watched Vivian (the girl that I was with) looking at stamps and playing around with the boxes that were there. I swear, she looked like a little kid then. A cute one if I might add. Haha.

Off to Mos burgers for some refreshments. And that is after going around Orchard in the rain from place to place looking for a seat to sit down and eat. Honestly, Orchard is so big, its so vast and why cant I get a seat to eat?! And to be in the rain under that umbrella with her, I am for one not used to sharing an umbrella, especially with a girl and I have to worry about her getting wet and falling sick and all. Its a bother, but I am sure guys will agree that they should protect the girl, not saying that girls are weak and all, but still, its just how I was brought up. Yea, so we ended up in Mos Burgers and and AND she received a call from her cousin, TO SPOTCHECK ON HER, I was so darn worried at that time lol. Its like her whole family is coming to suspect me to be some sex maniac or something along that line. It was like interrogation, but the difference being I wasnt being interrogated directly. It was still nerve-wrecking, especially when she said that her cousin was going to come down to check on us o.o. And things got worse when on the road she pointed to some guy and said that he looked like her cousin. Honestly, it shortened my lifespan.

But in the end, all was good. I sent her home and she didn't fall sick from those few drops of rain. And I know that this entry wasn't very detailed, feel free to ask me if you have anything to ask lol, I highly doubt that would happen but hey its getting late here and I am tired, cut me some slack. JC life is starting to take its toll on me, but nobody said that it was going to be easy on me. And I am sure nobody is going to hear me give up.
