Its been forever since I've posted anything here. Blame it on the overwhelming schoolwork? Blame it on the fact that I have nothing to blog? Or blame it on my laziness to do anything about it? Well whatever the case, I am typing now, so yea......
It all started on Friday.
Jimmy, Vivian, Regina, Tian Qi and I were in the school library doing some of our homework before CCAs, outings, whatevers. We started goofing off halfway through and poked fun at each other. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that Jimmy and I were poking fun at Vivian. Haha. It was so much fun. It all started when Regina wrote "I'm Spastic" on a piece of paper and arrowed that at Vivian, and then....you wouldnt beleive what happened....Vivian looked at the paper, took it AND.....wrote "I thought the spelling is Spasmtic?" That line was enough to make me burst out laughing, but being in the library and being the gentleman that I am, I reduced my booming laughter to a mere chuckle.
Spasmtic....I learnt a new word that day. Haha.
Jimmy got an idea from that and I'm telling you, its not good when Jimmy gets these ideas (Well, not good for Vivian that is) Jimmy was working frantically with the paper, borrowing highlighters and pens from everyone at the table. And then his masterpiece was done.
Yup, that was what he drew and it took us so long to align these speech bubbles with Vivian's face. I was surprised that the librarian didnt come at us for gigglin and chuckling away, but I am glad that he didnt, because we were having so much fun. Tian Qi had one of her crazy outbursts of laughter which took forever to calm down, Regina was complaining about how Vivian keeps pulling out her earpiece, Jimmy and I were having fun with the pictures and Vivian was struggling to conceal herself from my camera. Doesnt seem much like a scene of studying students does it. But at least we had fun. Haha.
Then, I fell sick. The cold and fever that was already in my body finally surfaced right after I closed my math homework, and that was after so much fun too....what a wet towel. I skipped CCA that day and went back home to sleep. And for the entire week, I've been doing nothing but sleeping and resting myself, which I hate, because I am not the kind that can sit still for that long a time. But what could I do? I was sweating and shivering at the same time, my body was weak all over and my brain was too hot to think straight. Try having a fever for 4 straight days, feeling hot and cold and hot and cold again and again and again. This was/is by far the most irritating fever that I have had and I want it to stop right now! Today is day 4 and I am hoping that this will be the end of my illness, I have loads of things to do and many more to think about, I need my body to work at normal conditions, if not at its best. JC life is exhausting and I want to be able to finish it, finish and conquer the exhaustion.
